Today I just chilled with my mother and younger sister, we went to the Salvation Army... came back with $3.50 worth of glasses, so all wasn't lost... Now that I think about it I should have bought that leather mini skirt

All Dressed Up & Nowhere to go
Just as the title suggest, I got dressed with no destination in mind. I mean I did take out the litter box but that doesn't really count. Now that i think about I probably should have taken picture of what I wore on my date...

The Grainy Run-Down:
- Sheer GAP long sleeve top (it's old as dirt)
- dark denim shorts & a plain red belt (their old as dirt)
- $0.43 stocking knee high thingys topped with my favorite socks from HERE
- and of course my awesome boots

Africanized American
I am for the most part African-American --my father a descendant of slave whereas my mother is a Native American and African-American blend-- My mother raised me to be very open minded person when it comes to culture and all other aspects of life. So under her wing I am well rounded in the customs of others. I found myself surrounded by Native Africans and more so Nigerians I have never come cross a people so loving and welcoming, I find I have an unspoken connection with my African friends and their families it's a homey feeling I get when I'm in their midst I believe I'm an Africanized American.

ThisBlog: IsAbout...
finding myself and the evolution of my personal style. I've spent my entire life as the odd girl. You know the one sitting on the porch wrapped up in a book, mom jeans and over size sweaters, 1,001 DIY/ crafting projects, rarely leaving my room, not popular but known for her oddities.(Yes I was That girl)

Things I've Never Worn
Here are a few items that I’ve never worn out side of my own house either A.) because I cant find anything to pair it with or B.) I haven’t built up the confidence to wear IRL.
First we have my pink and white pin striped 3/4 sleeve blazer (Which I proudly wore today)
to be honest I absolutely love it but more so the detail, it’s comfy and just boxy enough to compliment my curvy
^^^check out my sexy awkward squat to show off the back.^^^
not really a great picture but this is exactly why I need a good camera and a tripod (v.v) but I must accept the fact the I cannot afford one atm.
Next we have my silk, off-white, super tight, high waist, capri pants, and I don’t wear them because… well you’ll see. Lets just say 118 lbs. was a long time ago.
Then there’s the really old jacket I found in our storage out back. It’s kind of grunge looking if you ask me but I love it all the same. Maybe if I added some spikes I’d be more inclined to take it for a spin.
Then there’s that sweater that makes my boobs look soo big (No Beuno), but the colour’s nice.
And last but not least this WEIRD skirt with some kind of whacky story being told all over it. I’ve often thought about turning it in to shorts.
